Sure, it’s ok. That’s what people wear to the beach, right? You’ll turn some heads and be the object of lust to teenage boys, but why not?

You should go topless too.

Your choice but not very appropriate in family sites.

Thong bikinis are never okay–except in Rio.
Comment by Jill W — July 7, 2008 @ 8:33 pm
probably not because its not very decent in from of kids, some wives dont want their hubbies to see either
Comment by my_first_time — July 9, 2008 @ 10:48 am
Sure. The human body is nothing to be ashamed of. Girls wear them on the beach here in CA all the time.
Comment by The man in the box... — July 9, 2008 @ 3:57 pm
uhh no. thats innapropriate. i sure wouldnt want my kids to see that, or even myself
Comment by LoLa — July 11, 2008 @ 4:52 am
You can if you have no decency. Do it at “another” beach, not to the children!
Comment by thebandgeek3 — July 12, 2008 @ 8:50 pm
Only if you’ll let me floss my teeth with yer thong
Comment by captainharrr — July 13, 2008 @ 12:20 am
No because the parents would probably judge you and think you were nasty.
Comment by Dawn B — July 15, 2008 @ 4:34 am
NO…not even if families weren’t there. have you no shame? is your rear end your only redeeming attraction?
If it’s for a tan..then wear your thong in a tanning booth.
Comment by Ken Sisk — July 15, 2008 @ 5:55 am
I wouldn’t recommend it just for the sake of having people complaining, unless that doesn’t bother you. Otherwise you could make alot of fathers happy that you did.
Comment by tre_loc_dogg2000 — July 16, 2008 @ 11:18 am
I don’t think you want to cause a sensation.
Comment by Susan S — July 17, 2008 @ 12:36 pm
not a good idea.
Comment by Diesel1907 — July 19, 2008 @ 7:38 pm
I might be the only guy on earth who thinks thongs are silly, but I still don’t see anything wrong with it. . .so who cares, do what you want!
Comment by ThatGuy — July 22, 2008 @ 10:24 am
Actually a thong IS quite cheeesey to the average person. Makes a body think that your just showing off and “it’s all about me”! Have some class!
Comment by cerri — July 24, 2008 @ 12:25 am
You should wear your thong bikini at all times! No matter what the occasion, it is always appropriate! :p
Comment by DBK — July 25, 2008 @ 2:43 am
If my ass wasn’t so flat, I would. The human body should be celebrated. If you got it flaunt it. It shouldn’t matter if you make someone else uncomfortable as long as you don’t feel self-consious, because then you’ll look uncomfortable.
Comment by kaliedoscope_eyes86 — July 27, 2008 @ 2:00 am
If you’re booty is slammin’ (zero cellulite, tan and toned) sure — if you’re in Rio.
If you’re not – NO – it’s just tacky.
Comment by JeninLA — July 29, 2008 @ 6:53 pm
I sure wouldn’t…
I mean, a lot of people wouldn’t let their kids wear something like that, much less see it on somebody…something can be super-cute (the perfect color and a few cool cuts to make it look unique) but if you have to worry even a little bit about pulling it up on your boobs or anything…don’t wear it.
Comment by grinningchesirecat — July 30, 2008 @ 5:03 am
as long as you loOK good in it! I have seen some that should have not tried it, This day in time its ok , when it first hit the fashion world it was looked down on. Most people that cant wear them are jealous jelly’s.
Comment by edgarrrw — July 31, 2008 @ 5:06 pm
yes but first send me a pitcher of you in it thanks.
Comment by Eddie C — August 2, 2008 @ 11:00 am
I don’t find it respectful to wear just your thong bikini. put a skirt or sarong over it at least.
Comment by Enigmatic Mind — August 3, 2008 @ 10:49 am
Perfectly. But you don’t have to go the beach, to do wear it. You could just go to a public pool, like say in the city park, or to the house or apt of a guy, in whom you’re interested. Just don’t violate any driving rules, on the way.
Comment by Uncle John — August 5, 2008 @ 2:57 am
Sure the dads will like it. And the little boys. Flaunt it !
Comment by applachianamerican — August 7, 2008 @ 11:38 am
Oh please don’t. Please. There’s a time and place for everything. By you doing that it just forces my kids to see something and question it that they are just too young to understand. What you do is your business. But you’re obviuosly a good kid, or you wouldn’t care to ask.
Comment by chocolatelover — August 8, 2008 @ 1:14 pm
probably not…as much as the guys would im sure like that, it would probably be alittle inappropriate if theres kids around…and think about all those poor husbands trying to hide wood from there wife when you walk by…..
Comment by dzeyoyo123 — August 10, 2008 @ 7:22 pm
Of course it’s okay, that’s what the beach is for! (Unless you’re very overweight, …NO one wants to see that!!) (Well, sorry, I guess there are “Chubby Chasers”, but MOST of us would appreciate NOT seeing someone overweight in a thong…)
Comment by sekhtet — August 14, 2008 @ 6:51 am
People wear beach-wear at the beach. Bikinis, thong bikinis, one piece suits, suits with frilly skirts — whatever counts as beach wear is perfectly appropriate.
If you think it might embarass you, then wear something a little more conservative, and save the thong for a less public spot. But that’s your choice.
Comment by old lady — August 15, 2008 @ 5:15 pm
it’s your choice, but you might get some comments from parents and giggles and stares from children. I guess it is your freedom, but don’t draw too much attention to yourself.
Comment by Kait — August 18, 2008 @ 9:27 am
Sure, why not. The human body is natural, everyone has one. Kids will pay absolutely no attention to it at all unless they are male and about 16. I have three kids, not a one of them has noticed what someone was wearing at a beach.
Comment by curls — August 18, 2008 @ 7:19 pm
sure why not… if you like little kids staring at your butt.
Comment by Cun Fuzz ed — August 19, 2008 @ 12:51 am
Thongs are just for attention seekers. You’re doing it right now. There’s no other reason for wearing one since they give you the most ridiculous tan lines. Chances are you don’t even have the body for it, so, no, the thong stays in the backyard.
Comment by misslabeled — August 20, 2008 @ 4:00 pm
I wouldn’t if I were you, but I’m pretty modest.
But if little kids are going to be there, it would be polite of you to not wear it. Of course no one can legally force you not to wear it, but I think it would be the nice thing to do.
Comment by Tarah — August 21, 2008 @ 3:36 pm
Yeah, but wear it backwards….nobody wants to see your @ss! hehehe
Comment by GiGi — August 23, 2008 @ 4:09 pm
i think you should wear it but i hope while your tanning 1 of the kids spills REALLY sticky Kool Aid in your crack….. hahahaha!!!!
Comment by samfd2001 — August 27, 2008 @ 12:14 am
Kids or no kids – just make sure you have a firm ass if you wear one. Nothing more ugly or stupid than a fat flabby one wearing one!
Comment by ami — August 27, 2008 @ 4:07 am
we should always care that type of others look coordinate with our sensitives and requests

THONG: Topless Humans Organized for Natural Genetics
It is an organisation located in Chicago. They make pool parties and every body wears thongs and they are topless. Would you join this organisation with me?
Comment by Ricardo G — August 29, 2008 @ 8:33 pm
Absolutely, but only if you have the body for it. I would never curtail my choice of clothing for someone with kids. If the ‘families’ have a problem with it then thay can stay home.
Comment by poisoneva007 — August 30, 2008 @ 3:35 pm
No, it’s not okay, and you have obviously thought it wasn’t either, or you wouldn’t be questioning it. Keep it for a more private time.
Comment by nanny — August 31, 2008 @ 4:11 am
Frankly, the fact that there are families is, I think, irrelevant. It surprises me how people will take children to places where they KNOW offensive things are, and then complain about it. Reminds me of when I saw “Boomerang” in the theatre and a certain scene made me go “damn” (not loudly, but enough that someone 2 seats away barely heard me). They had a child, like a 4 year old, and took offense. My reply was “well what in the heck are you doing bring a FOUR YEAR OLD to an R-rated movie anyway?”
So frankly, you should have the right to live your life the way you want, without children infringing upon it. I can sort of understand the decency concerns of a family, but you have the right to your life just the same.
But I will say–if you don’t want guys staring at you and looking at you with lustful passions, then you should restrain. I encounter too many women bearing-it-all in a bikini and if you so much as glance for even 1-2 seconds MAX, they look at you like “what are you looking at,” and I’m like–well, duh!
