You don’t have to wear a bikini at all …most beaches are topless. So, a thong is nothing special.

i went to spain and france one summer and i went along the beach and allllll along the beach, there were topless girls with thong bikinis . . . so yes . . . ull fit in

See nothing else on the streets of Yorkshire……You do realise that Madeira is a Volcanic Island and there are no beaches, you do know this don’t you? Did you mean to go elsewhere, its a very English Island with afternoon tea and Madeira cake and wine, you’ll fit right in……….

I think in Madeira there would be no problem in doing so… anywhere in the south of Europe really, now I come to think og it. Try it on the beach here in Belgium, where I live, and people WILL undoubtly stare, but still it’s not exactly uncommon.

I think you’ll find that anywhere hot in Europe is crawling with British tourists, so anywhere hot in Europe will be filled with thong-wearing chavscum.
So no you will not look out of place.
And yes, you definitely will look like a slapper.
Assuming that you are not a slapper, consider wearing swimwear that covers some of your botttom, you may be less of a target for sunburned lager louts that expect head in return for merely chatting you up.

If you want to be seen as a slapper then go for it. You can join the rest of the slappers on the beach meat market.
Do you parade this way in front of your fiends and family. I think the answer would be no. So why is it ok to do it in front of a bunch of slobbering men you dont know.
At least a prostitute would have the sense to get paid for it.

There Disgusting . I’m sorry being a gay guy I have to tell you let the others look like slappers . English girls do not need to give any more bad impressions on foreigners they come here in droves on cheap packages knowing that they will get a leg over for sure .
Why women drop them so easily perhaps its because after all this laddism men are turning to their own sex for some respect and self respect

You can certainly wear a thong or g-string and enjoy the beaches of Europe. In many cases the beaches are OK with topless as well, so consider bringing the skimpiest bottom you’re comfortable with and simply wearing that without a top on the beach…as long as it’s accepted on the beach you’re visiting.
A number of beaches will permit complete nudity, either on the regular beach itself or in a specially designated section. If you’ve never been to a nude beach I’d really suggest that you give it a try…you’ll love it!
FYI…there are great nude beaches here in the US as well, and thongs are becoming more commonplace even on “regular” beaches.
