I’ve been invited to a pool party at a friend’s place in Italy when I go there on vacation next week.

Is it OK to wear a thong bikini? My friend is out of email contact at the moment, so I can’t ask her.

I’ve heard Europeans are much more relaxed about thong swimwear than Americans. I’d like to be adventurous and try it, but I’m not sure if I’d be comfortable being the only woman there wearing a thong.
